KA BIAS Route Madiun-Badara Adi Soemarmo Solo Diujicoba, Lowest Tariff Rp7,000

PT KAI (Persero) Daop 7 Madiun conducted the first BIAS train integration test (Adi Soemarmo Solo International Airport) at Madiun Station from Adi Soemarmo Airport Station Solo on Saturday, November 2, which is expected to arrive around 17.31 WIB.

KA BIAS offers round-trip (PP) trips with routes from Madiun Station, East Java, to Adi Soemarmo Airport Station Solo, Central Java.

"Starting November 2, trials will be carried out from Solo Station Adi Soemarmo to Madiun and starting November 3 will be operated twice the departure of PP from Madiun Station to Adi Soemarmo Airport Station," said Vice President Daop 7 Madiun Suharjono in Madiun, Saturday, November 2.

With the presence of the BIAS train service, the people of Madiun and its surroundings who want to fly through Solo's Adi Soemarmo Airport can now enjoy easier, faster, and more comfortable transportation access without worrying about congestion on land routes.

This integration is also expected to increase public interest in utilizing public transportation, reduce traffic density, and support inter-regional connectivity in East Java and Central Java Provinces.

The tariff for the trial trip from Madiun Station to Adi Soemarmo Station Solo is set at IDR 40,000. Meanwhile, from Madiun Station - Walikukun Station it is IDR 20,000, and Madiun-Magetan IDR 7,000.

"The tariff during this trial period is set to be affordable for the entire community, including users of air transportation services," he said.

Suharjono added that the BIAS train test route from Madiun Station will stop and serve passenger up and down at several stations along the route from Madiun to Solo.

List of stop stations include Madiun Station Magetan Station Ngawi Station - Sragen Station - Solo Jebres Station - Kadipiro Station - and ending at Adi Soemarmo Solo Station, which is the final destination station that is connected directly to Adisumarmo International Airport.

In providing this new service, KAI Daop 7 Madiun is committed to providing good security and comfort for passengers. KA BIAS is equipped with facilities according to the modern and comfortable KAI standards.

"PT KAI hopes that this integration will make it easier for people who want to travel to solo and access air transportation through Adi Soemarmo Airport or vice versa.
