Kpk Jebloskan Rachmat Yasin To Sukamiskin Prison

JAKARTA - The prosecutor of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) executed former Bogor Regent Rachmat Yasin from kpk prison to Sukamiskin Correctional Institution, West Java.

This was done after kpk execution prosecutor Irman Yudiandri finished implementing the Verdict PN Tipikor on PN Bandung Class IA Special Number: 75/Pid.Sus-TPK/2020/PN.Bdg.

Acting Kpk Spokesman Ali Fikri said Rachmat Yasin will remain in Sukamiskin Prison for 2 years and 8 months reduced while in custody.

"The convicted have been found guilty of committing crimes of corruption committed on an ongoing basis," Ali told reporters on Thursday, April 8.

Rachmat also has an obligation to pay a criminal fine of Rp200 million provided that if the fine is not paid it will be replaced with a criminal confinement for 2 months.

"The previous convict had deposited a sum of Rp9,786,223,000.00 into the KPK shelter account and the money was determined by the Panel of Judges as payment of the criminal's replacement money to be deposited in the state treasury," he said.

In this corruption case, Rachmat is said to have received gratification from the Bogor District Skpd with a total of around Rp. 8.9 billion for the purposes of the Bogor Regent and Vice Regent Elections in 2013 and the 2014 elections.

Rachmat also obtained an area of 170,442 hectares in Singasari Village, Jonggol Subdistrict, Bogor Regency was given by a businessman named Rudy Wahab for the purposes of managing pesantren development permits.

The former Bogor Regent was found guilty according to the first indictment, namely Article 12 B juncto Article 12 C of Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes as amended by Law No. 20 of 2001.
