Hasto Ensures Megawati's Meeting With Prabowo Will Happen Soon

PONOROGO - Secretary General of the PDI-P DPP Hasto Kristianto visited Ponorogo. His arrival was for political safaris and internal consolidation meetings at the PGRI Building, Ponorogo Regency, East Java, on Monday, October 28 evening.

On this occasion, Hasto ensured that the movement of PDIP machines together with volunteers and all components of society were ready to win the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor of East Java Tri Rismaharini-Gus Hans, as well as to win the candidate for regent Ponorogo Sugiri Sancoko who is also a PDIP cadre.

When asked about President Prabowo Subianto's meeting with PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri, he confirmed that the meeting would take place. According to him, the meeting of these two figures is important because both of them have a long historical track record.

"After consolidation with the ministers, this is a direction from Pak Prabowo so that later it will be communicated and of course the meeting is to keep the regional elections running conducively," said Hasto.

Hasto also said that the PDIP position, which did not get a ministerial quota at all and also Megawati's meeting with President Prabowo, did not necessarily make PDIP an opposition party or a government party.

However, his party ensures a vision with President Prabowo to be able to realize food sovereignty and also realize Indonesia's leadership in the eyes of the world, in the midst of the country's problems in the Middle East.

"We will measure all of that as a country's political policy. Financial sovereignty, sovereignty in the energy sector, governance of our natural wealth to protect the people are constitutional orders," said Hasto.
