JAKARTA - Online gambling advertisements stormed the DKI Jakarta Provincial KPU chat column while broadcasting live debates for the second round of Cagub-Cawagub Jakarta 2024. With courage, these online gambling advertisements say whoever the governor continues to play football on the advertised site.

"For the governor, still if you play football on ***, win whatever you pay in full!!," wrote the online gambling account.

These advertisements received the attention of netizens who witnessed the debate firsthand.

The DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) held a debate between the two pairs of candidates for governor and deputy governor of the 2024 DKI Jakarta Pilkada at the Beach City International Stadium (BCIS) of North Jakarta Administrative City, Sunday, October 27 evening.

The theme raised in the second debate is "Economics and Social Welfare". This theme is divided into six subthemes, namely integrated infrastructure and excellent basic services, education and health.

Then the handling of social inequality, the development of the digital economy and MSMEs, then, tourism and the creative economy as well as the inflation of basic commodities.

The debate participants were candidate pair for governor and deputy governor number 1 Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO), candidate pair number 2 Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana (Dharma-Kun) and candidate pair number 3 Pramono Anung-Rano Karno (Pram-Doel).

Previously, the first debate was held at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Sunday (6/10) night with the theme "Strengthening HR and Transformation of Jakarta into a Global City". The third phase of the Jakarta Pilkada debate is scheduled to return on November 17, 2024.
