JAKARTA - The Minister of Forestry (Menhut) Raja Juli Antoni said that in the future he would focus on resolving several forestry issues including data transparency to overcome the issue of oil palm continuation in forest areas.

The politician from the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) specifically refers to the issue of monitoring the governance of palm oil in Indonesia as previously disclosed by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).

The report from the BPKP, he said, would be the basis where the Ministry of Forestry (Kemenhut) would start working in forest area planning.

Raja Juli juga menegaskan akan bekerja sesuai dengan arahan Presiden Prabowo Subianto untuk melakukan langkah-langkah yang memastikan pertahankannya kawasan hutan Indonesia sebagai bagian dari pulu-pulung dunia.
