Returning To Solo, Jokowi Will Take The Indonesian Air Force Plane

The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), was confirmed to return to Solo by boarding the Indonesian Air Force aircraft from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, not using commercial aircraft.

In a written statement, the Head of the Presidential Communication Office, Hasan Nasbi, stated that Jokowi and his wife, Iriana will leave for Solo, on Sunday, October 20, 2024 afternoon, after welcoming the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto at the Merdeka Palace.

"After the event at the Merdeka Palace, Pak Jokowi will return to Solo using Indonesian Air Force aircraft, not commercial aircraft," he said.

Hasan added that the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, is scheduled to take Jokowi to the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base. In addition, a number of ministers from the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet will also participate in releasing Jokowi's return to Solo.

"Pak Prabowo will also deliver him to Halim, and the ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet are also planned to participate in releasing Pak Jokowi's departure to Solo at Halim Airport this afternoon," he said.

Previously, the General Treasurer of Projo, Panel Barus stated that Projo volunteers in Solo were ready to welcome Jokowi at Solo Adi Soemarmo Airport and on his way to his residence.
