State Guests Continue To Come Ahead Of Prabowo's Inauguration - Gibran

The state guests continued to come to Jakarta until Saturday afternoon to attend the inauguration ceremony of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Sunday (20/10) morning.

As monitored through the Presidential Secretariat YouTube channel in Jakarta, Saturday, state guests who arrived included Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Attiyah and Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand Anutin Charnvirakul.

The two country leaders arrived via Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta and were greeted by the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani.

Furthermore, the state guests who arrived via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten, were the Prime Minister of Timor Leste Xana Gusmao, whose arrival was welcomed by Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin.

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and Chinese Vice President Han Zheng also arrived through the airport. However, their arrival was welcomed by the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi.

After arriving in Jakarta, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng immediately met Indonesian President Joko Widodo during a visit to the State Palace.

Meanwhile, the Special Envoy for the President of the United Arab Emirates, Nahyan bin Mubarak Al-Nahyan, who also arrived in Jakarta via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, was greeted by Deputy Chairman of Commission I DPR RI Sugiono.

Like other leaders who have arrived first, the welcoming ceremony is carried out by involving troops in line of honor.

It is known that the first state guests who arrived in Jakarta on Saturday morning were Russian Prime Minister Denis Manturov, Prime Minister Vanuatu Charlot Salwai Tabimasmas, Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Hassanal Bolkiah, and Lao Vice President Pany Yathotou.

Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Attiyah and Vietnam Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan also arrived on Saturday morning.

Meanwhile, former German President Christian Wulff arrived in Indonesia on Friday (18/10) night, thus becoming the first state guest to attend the inauguration of Prabowo-Gibran.

The inauguration of the Elected Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates for the 2024 General Election to become the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 period will be held at the MPR/DPR/DPD RI Building, Jakarta, Sunday.
