The Child Protection Agency (LPA) of Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara, asked the police to reveal the cause of the death of an Al-Aziziyah Islamic Boarding School student with the initials NI.

"I think the police can convey the progress of this case to the public about the cause of the death of this NI female student," said Head of the Mataram City LPA Joko Jumadi in Mataram, Antara, Friday, October 18.

He conveyed this based on the perspective of the Mataram LPA on the handling of this case which had provided assistance in the process of examining witnesses from among children's age students.

According to him, the hospital, which had provided medical treatment for the deceased before finally dying, had clearly provided information that the cause of death of the NI female students was a blunt object impact on the head.

"So, this case has found elements of violence that result in people dying. This fact has been obtained from information from hospitals, polyclinics, and health centers that are in harmony stating that this student died from a blunt object collision," he said.

Now what the police need to investigate, according to him, is the element of "anyway" who commits violence that causes NI female students to fall into a coma or become unconscious and eventually die while undergoing medical treatment at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) dr. Raden Soedjono.

"So, now what has not been obtained is about the elements of who did it. For what elements caused his death, it has been obtained," he said.

Joko emphasized that the Mataram City LPA supports the police's efforts to uncover elements of "who are" committing acts of violence against NI female students.

He believes that the police as law enforcement officers with reliable resource support can uncover cases of the violence.

"How come you already know the cause, then no one in the hut doesn't know? Is this the child (NI student) falling, or is there anything like that? This must be discovered. If one hut doesn't know what happened, it looks really strange," said Joko.

Previously, the Head of the Mataram Police, Kombes Pol. Ariefaldi Warganegara said that police investigators had examined at least 50 witnesses in handling the case.

He said the witnesses who underwent the examination came from students, boarding school administrators, medical personnel who had provided treatment before finally NI died, and criminal experts and psychologists. The autopsy of the body of an NI student to see the cause of death has also been carried out.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Mataram Police Satreskrim Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa Utama also said that his party had received the autopsy results of NI's body from the Bhayangkara Mataram Hospital.

However, he said, his party had not been able to reveal the results of the autopsy before officially hearing the explanation from the forensic expert who conducted the autopsy.

"We are still scheduling the examination of forensic experts. Later, when there is clear information, we can tell you what the results will be," said Yogi.

Santriwati NI died at the age of 13 after undergoing intensive treatment at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) dr. Raden Soedjono, East Lombok Regency, Saturday (29/6).

Before finally dying at dr. Raden Soedjono, NI female students had stopped undergoing treatment at the dr. Candra East Lombok and Labuhan Haji Health Center, East Lombok Regency.
