10 Suspects Of Robbery Of Sleman Fire Department Fake Report Mode Arrested, Heartache To Danru

Yogyakarta Special Region Police arrested 10 of the 11 suspects in the robbery or theft case accompanied by violence at the Fire Department (Damkar) Godean, Sleman Regency.

Deputy Director of Criminal Investigation of the Yogyakarta Regional Police AKBP K. Tri Panungko said the robbery case occurred on Friday (13/9) at 02.30 WIB.

"There are 11 perpetrators involved in this incident. However, we have secured 10 people and one continues to search," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 16.

AKBP Tri Panungko stated the initials of the suspect, namely PUR (30), RH (28), BGS (26), DR (26), DND (28), NUG (27), DD (31), HS (28), DK (34), and OF (26), while a suspect with the initials ALF is still a DPO.

The victim in the incident had the initials T (45) as the Commander of Team IV of the Godean Fire Department.

Of the 11 suspects, continued Panungko, three of them were NUG, DD, and OF were government employees with the Godean Damkar work agreement (PPPK).

Prior to the incident, said AKBP Panungko, the suspect OF the case, who was the mastermind of the case, gathered a number of his colleagues to draw up a scenario.

OF THEN ordered six executors, namely PUR, RH, BGS, DR, DND, and ALF, to enter the Godean Damkar Mako.

"His job began with entering the Mako Damkar Godean Sleman and the goal was to teach victims T a lesson," he said.

To smooth out the action, suspects NUG, HS, and DK made an emergency call to the Sleman Main Damkar Mako with fake reports of snakes entering the house outside, Sleman.

The attempt to conduct it made a number of officers from the Mako Damkar Godean picket sliding to the location and leaving T alone.

"The suspect DD is tasked with ensuring that the victim remains alone at the Godean Fire Department Headquarters," he said.

After that, six executors entered the Mako Damkar Godean and committed acts of physical violence against the victim.

Initially, the suspect PUR pushed the victim by pointing a water gun and RH threatened the victim with a sharp sickle while smothering and covering the victim's mouth with duct tape.

Another suspect then hit and kicked the victim.

"In the condition of the victim falling, the suspects took the victim's belongings, then left the victim in a mouth condition covered with duct tape and without wearing clothes," said AKBP Panungko.

Based on the results of the examination, he said, it was revealed that the motive for the action was motivated by OF's heartache towards T.

As the squad commander (danru), T is considered to often report things that are done in his squad to the leadership, especially for negative things.

The police confiscated a number of evidences from the suspects including 4 motorbikes, 8 cell phones, a water gun, a sickle, a pair of t-shirts, 2 face coverings, and several others.

The suspects were charged with Article 365 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55, Article 56 of the Criminal Code, and/or Article 170 of the Criminal Code jo. Article 55.56 of the Criminal Code concerning theft with violence and/or together committing acts of violence with a maximum penalty of 9 years in prison.
