Bandung Police arrested a junior high school teacher in the Ibun District, Bandung Regency for committing a criminal act of molestation against his own students.

Kasatreskrim Polresta Bandung Kompol Oliestha Ageng Wicaksana stated the identity of the perpetrator with the initials K (54) while the victim was 14 years old.

"Thank God for the assistance of the community and also the Sector Police, the perpetrators were immediately secured by the PPA unit for further investigation and investigation," Oliestha said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 15.

Oliestha said the obscenity was revealed after the victim told her family what was then reported to the police.

"This case was discovered around July 2024 at 18.00 WIB, but it was reported to us on October 6, 2024," he said.

Based on the report, he said, the Bandung Police immediately conducted an investigation and succeeded in arresting the perpetrator at his residence

Oliestha revealed that the incident began when the perpetrator was standing near a mosque bordering a meatball shop guarded by the victim.

Then the victim was called by the perpetrator and the victim came to the perpetrator with the hope that the perpetrator bought meatballs. It turned out that the perpetrator actually molested the victim. The perpetrator had given Rp10 thousand in cash.

"After the situation was safe, the perpetrators actually told the victim not to tell what had happened and gave Rp10,000," said Oliestha.

From this incident, he said, the victim felt scared and traumatized. This incident was also shared with the family.

"As for the evidence that we can secure, namely the clothes used by the victim at the time of the incident, then we have also carried out a post-mortem on the victim," he said.
