9 Suspects Of Disbandment Of Grand Kemang Discussion Have Been Arrested By The Police

JAKARTA - The alleged case of forced disbandment of discussions at the Grand Kemang Hotel continues to be investigated. Until now, all 9 suspects have been arrested.

"It's true, there are 9 suspects," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to VOI, Monday, October 7.

The number was after the Jatanras Sub-Directorate of the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police again arrested four suspects. They have the initials YL (24), WSL (28), FMC (24), and RAS.

It is known that previously 5 people had been arrested and named suspects.

Based on the investigation, the four suspects who were arrested a few days ago had different roles.

Suspect YL (24) played a destructive role or pulled a banner and damaged the table using a stand mic. WSL is said to be damaging or pulling banners and projector screen poles.

In addition, the Head of Sub-Directorate for Jatanras, Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, AKBP Rovan Richard Mahenu, said that the 9 suspects were all parties involved in the forced disbandment and the processing of discussion activities with the theme 'National Diaspora with National Figures and Activists'.

"That's right, we have arrested all 9 perpetrators," said Rovan.

For information, the other five suspects had the initials YS, RR, MR alias RD, FEK and GW. Their roles vary in the vandalism case.

Suspect YS is said to have damaged goods at the discussion location. Meanwhile, RR played a role in hitting security officers or security guards at the Grand Kemang Hotel.

The suspect MR alias RD kicked one of the security guards and tried to hit him. Then, FEK acted as the field coordinator, while GW infiltrated the national discussion room and carried out acts of vandalism.
