No More Traffic Jams, Contraflow On The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Is Stopped

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga noted that the traffic towards the Cikampek Toll Road which was previously jammed has now been smooth. Currently, contraflow KM 47 + 000 to KM 61 + 000 is discontinued.

"Until this information is released, it has been monitored at f Jakarta-Cikampek heading towards Cikampek smoothly, so since 16.45 WIB the contraflow kilometer 47 + 000 to kilometer 61 + 000 has been stopped," said General Manager Representative Office 1 of Jasa Marga Transjawa Tollroad Regional Division, Widiyatmiko. Nursejati in his statement, Friday, April 2.

Widyatmiko appealed to road users to ensure that the vehicle is in prime condition. In addition, make sure the electronic money balance is sufficient.

Then, drivers are advised to refuel before starting the trip and bring supplies to avoid crowds or congestion in the rest area.

"Always be careful when driving, obey signs and follow directions from officers in the field," he said.

Previously, the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Cikampek had experienced severe congestion during the long holiday ahead of Easter, since this morning.

To unravel congestion, PT Jasa Marga implemented contraflow as traffic engineering since 03.40 WIB.

"With the implementation of contraflow, it is hoped that the congestion that occurs on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road will be able to break down," said Widyatmiko.
