Jakarta Gubernatorial Election Campaign Initial Fund: RK-Suswono IDR 1 Billion, Dharma-Kun Only IDR 5 Million, Pramono-Rano IDR 100 Million

JAKARTA - The General Election Commission (KPU) of DKI Jakarta released the initial report of campaign funds (LADK) for the candidate pair (paslon) of the Governor and Deputy Governor of Jakarta. This is stated in the announcement of the DKI Jakarta KPU number 78/PL.02.5-Pu/31/2024.

The three candidate pairs conveyed LADK on Tuesday, September 24. In the LADK recipient report, candidate pair number 1 Ridwan Kamil-Suswono had an initial LADK balance of IDR 1 billion.

Then, candidate pair number 2 Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana conveyed that LADK was IDR 5 million, then candidate pair number 3 Pramono-Rano submitted his initial campaign funds of IDR 100 million.

The KPU revealed that the source of the initial funding for the Pramono-Rano and Dharma-Kun campaign came from candidate pairs.

Meanwhile, the source of the campaign funds included in the special account of the RKK-Suswono campaign fund (RKDK) came from a candidate pair of Rp400 million and a political party or coalition of political parties amounting to Rp600 million.

Currently, the Jakarta Pilkada campaign period has begun. The KPU has determined that the campaign period for regional head candidates will take place from September 25 to November 23, 2024.

Ridwan Kamil-Suswono was promoted by 12 political parties. The details are the Gerindra Party, the Golkar Party, the Prosperous Justice Party, the NasDem Party, the National Awakening Party, the Indonesian Solidarity Party, the Democratic Party, the National Mandate Party, the Garuda Party, the Gelora Party, the Perindo Party, and the United Development Party.

Pramono-Rano was promoted by PDIP and Hanura, while Dharma-Kun Wardana ran as an independent candidate.
