Mukomuko Allocates IDR 1 Billion Budget For Light Installation At 125 Points

MUKOMUKO - Mukomuko Regency Government, Bengkulu Province, allocated a budget of IDR 1 billion in 2025 for the procurement and installation of 125 public street lighting (PJU) points spread across 15 sub-districts of this area.

"Next year the budget is the same as this year's IDR 1 billion," said Head of the Mukomuko District Transportation Service Sirat Purnama in Mukomuko, Antara, Sunday, September 29.

The Mukomuko Regency Transportation Service in 2024 received a budget allocation of Rp. 1 billion for procurement activities as well as the installation of PJU lights in the Mukomuko City sub-district.

"The procurement and installation of public street lighting in this area in 2024 has been completed 100 percent," he said.

He said, in addition to the budget for procurement and installation of PJU lights in 2024 and 2025, the electricity sources used also came from PLN in this area.

Then, he said, the number of PJU lights installation points in 2025 is also the same as this year's 125 points, but the installation locations are different. The location is prioritized for the main sub-district first, both along national and district roads.

"There are main sub-districts in this area that are along national roads, actually the national road is the responsibility of the hall, but it is located in this sub-district area," he said.

Actually, according to him, national roads are the ministry's obligation to prepare facilities, including lights.
