Minister Of Social Affairs Risma Asks Local Government Of DTKS Evaluation To Replace With New Recipients

JAKARTA - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini (Risma) asked local governments to evaluate integrated social welfare data (DTKS) to replace them with new beneficiaries.

"So this is what the regions need, because it is impossible for us to write off, because those who know exactly are in the regions. So we return the data to the regions. We continue to evaluate this," said Risma in West Java Province as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, March 31.

There is still data on beneficiaries that are not matched and there are multiple recipients. So, continued Risma, new beneficiaries who need assistance are still stuck.

Risma said that until now the distribution of social assistance was carried out until the end of March, and accelerated the distribution to recipients in April.

The distribution of social assistance is given in stages, because clarification is needed from the regions for the correctness of the data. "His party will provide these assistance funds when the data is compatible," said Risma.

"Actually, we really want the regions, even many of them submit new data, because there is data on beneficiaries who died. That must be submitted for new recipients," said Risma. Previously, the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs in March 2021 had and continues to distribute social assistance (bansos).

Social assistance is given to beneficiary families (KPM) with a population identification number (NIK) that matches the data of the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil), Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) as mandated by Presidential Decree No. 39 of 2019 concerning One Indonesian Data.

The distribution is part of the cash assistance program launched by President Joko Widodo since January 4, 2021, which includes three types of programs, namely the basic food / non-cash food assistance program (BPNT) for 18.8 million KPM, the family hope program (PKH) for 10 million KPM, and cash social assistance (BST) for 10 million KPM.

During March 2021, BPNT has distributed in several stages, namely on March 22 as much as 4,502,451 KPM, March 25, 5,993,734 KPM with an accumulation of 10,496,185 KPM.

The process of distributing the next stage of social assistance is expected to be carried out on March 29 as many as 4 million KPM and March 30, 3 million KPM.

"The total accumulated distribution will reach 17,496,185 KPM including accelerated April payments," said the Director General for the Management of the Poor (PFM) of the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos), Asep Sasa Purnama.
