JAKARTA - In connection with the construction project for the MRT Thamrin (CP201) station connection structure, PT Transport Jakarta (TransJakarta) shifted the location of the dismissal at the Kebon Sirih bus stop south (Blok M) to the bus stop.

This was conveyed by the Head of the Public Relations and CSR Department of PT TransJakarta, Ayu Wardhani, who said that the shift in the location of the Kebon Sirih bus stop towards Blok M to the temporary bus stop was effective starting next Sunday, at 10:00 WIB.

"Customers can still access all routes at the Kebon Sirih temporary bus stop (temporal bus stop) which is also located on the south side of Blok M, South Jakarta," Ayu said in a statement in Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, September 21.

The Kebon Sirih bus stop serves Corridor 1 (Blok M - Kota), Route 6A (Ragunan - City Hall via Kuningan), Route 6B (Ragunan - City Hall via Semanggi) and Amari M1 (Blok M - Kota).

Meanwhile, the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency coordinated with the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya and PT MRT Jakarta to enforce traffic engineering on a number of roads including Jalan MH Thamrin from September 21, 2024 to February 28, 2025.

This traffic engineering was implemented due to the construction of Monas Station and Thamrin Station. The construction of the station is part of the scope of MRT Jakarta Phase 2A construction work for the 201 Contract Package (CP201) HI-Harmoni Roundabout.

Traffic engineering was carried out, among others, on Jalan MH Thamrin on the east side (the direction of Blok M), because the MRT Jakarta construction area, which was originally located in the central part of the road, would move to the east side of Jalan MH Thamrin.

Thus, starting from the front of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building to the front of Thamrin 10 Food &Creative Park, traffic flows move to the center of the road and consist of three lanes of regular vehicles and one lane of intervening between regular vehicles and TransJakarta (3+1).

Then, at the intersection of Jalan MH Thamrin-Jalan Kebon Sirih. Traffic flow on Jalan Kebon Sirih from the east (Gondangdia) to the west (Tanah Abang) will be reopened so that vehicles do not have to turn around at the HI Roundabout.

The traffic flow on Kebon Sirih Street from the west (Tanah Abang) can go directly to the east (Gondangdia).

Then, the eastern side Transjakarta Bank Indonesia bus shelter (direction Blok M). The eastern side of the Transjakarta Bank Indonesia bus shelter in front of Thamrin 10 Food&Creative Park was temporarily moved to the front of the ex-Bank Bangkok Building from September 21, 2024 to November 20, 2024.
