Operation Brush Jaya: Most Curanmor Cases In Tangerang City

Polda Metro Jaya stated that the most cases of motor theft (curanmor) were found in the areas of Tangerang City, North Jakarta, Bekasi City, and West Jakarta.

This is based on the results of Operation Brush Jaya 2024 which was held by Polda Metro Jaya and Polres ranks from August to September.

"Furthermore, 108 cases were uncovered with details revealed by the Resmob Sub-Directorate of 4 cases, Jatanras Sub-Directorate 3 cases, Ranmor Sub-Directorate 5 cases, Central Jakarta Police 3 cases," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Wira Satya Triputra to reporters, Thursday, September 19.

"North Jakarta Police 12 cases, West Jakarta Police 8 cases, South Jakarta Police 5 cases, East Jakarta Police 1 case, Tangerang City Police 46 cases, Bekasi City Police 9 cases, Bekasi Regency 5 cases, Depok 5 cases, and South Tangerang 1 case," he continued.

Then, from the results of Operation Brush Jaya, it is also known that the most cases of weight theft or stealing occurred in North Jakarta and Bekasi City. Because, of the 68 cases revealed, the two police officers recorded 7 cases.

"There were 68 cases of theft with weight being uncovered. Of the 68 cases, Sub-Directorate of Resmob revealed 2 cases, Sub-Directorate of Jatanras 5 cases, Sub-Directorate of Ranmor 2 cases, Central Jakarta Police 5 cases, North Jakarta Police 7 cases," he said.

"West Jakarta Police 6 cases, South Kaarta 5 cases, East Jakarta 2 cases, Tangerang city 2 cases, Bekasi City 7 cases, Bekasi Regency 5 cases, Depok 5 cases, South Tangerang 4 cases and Tanjung Priok 1 case," he added.

Meanwhile, in Operation Brush Jaya, Polda Metro Jaya and Polres ranks revealed 276 cases of various types of criminal acts that could be uncovered. Then, 341 people were named as suspects.

From the disclosure of hundreds of cases, various pieces of evidence have been confiscated. Starting from dozens of cars to tens of millions of cash.

"There are 10 units of four-wheeled vehicles, then 95 units of two-wheeled vehicles, then 9 firearms, 29 sharp weapons, cash as much as Rp26,240,000, 127 units of mobile phones and 6 units of laptops," said Wira.
