JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri said there would no longer be a 'Holy Friday' in his leadership. He wants every day to be a sacred day for perpetrators of corruption crimes.

Friday Keramat is the KPK tagline in its efforts to eradicate corruption. There are many big cases, up to the important announcement about the perpetrators of corruption that was delivered by the KPK that day.

“Maybe now no one has heard the suspect's announcement on Friday. Nothing else. Why? Because we build that there is no Holy Friday, what is there every day is sacred, ”said Firli while visiting the Sukamiskin Prison in Bandung, West Java, Wednesday, March 31.

He also said that this was also done to avoid the impression that the KPK was targeting someone. "Anyway, on Friday there must be an announcement of the suspect, we don't. I said no, "he said.

Furthermore, Firli said, each suspect announcement must be made after the evidence collected by investigators is sufficient.

The KPK, continued Firli, no longer wants to announce that there are parties involved in corruption, but the process takes a long time to investigate the case.
