Senior PPP Politician Tosari Widjaja Dies At The Age Of 84

JAKARTA - Former Indonesian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco Tosari Widjaja who is also the former Secretary General of the United Development Party (PPP) passed away on Thursday 19 September morning.

"Yup, the information we got was like that," said PPP DPP Chairman Achmad Baidowi (Awiek) in a statement received in Jakarta, Thursday afternoon.

He then offered a prayer so that the deceased would have the best place by God's side.

"Hopefully his deeds of worship will be accepted by Allah SWT and become an expert in heaven," he said.

He also recalled the figure of Tosari Widjaja as a senior political figure from among students who had sat at the top of a number of leaders.

"He is a few from successful and capable political figures of students. Ever led by the DPR, MPR, as well as ambassadors," he said.

In addition, he continued, Tosari Widjaja's leadership in the party also brought progress to the regeneration of the party bearing the Kaaba symbol.

"During his tenure as Secretary General of PPP, that was when many quality young people entered PPP. Currently, his students are important people in this country," he said.

Based on information on sad news from the family in circulation, Tosari Widjaja died on Thursday at 05.15 WIB at the age of 84 years.

From the funeral home located in West Jakarta, it is planned that the deceased's body will be buried at the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery (TMP), Jakarta, on Thursday afternoon.
