Cak Lontong Holds Pramono-Rano Teamses First Meeting, Colored With Laughter

JAKARTA - Lies Hartono or who is familiarly called Cak Lontong held the inaugural meeting of the winning team for Jakarta Governor-Deputy Governor Pramono Anung-Rano Karno at the winning house, Jalan Cemara Number 19, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

The meeting, which was also attended by Pramono and Rano, was held behind closed doors for about an hour. From outside the room, it is often heard laughter from the members of the success team (timses) as long as Cak Lontong leads the meeting.

Pramono also acknowledged the happy atmosphere at the inaugural meeting after the meeting. Pramono feels grateful that the idea of cheerful political joy has begun to be carried out by his timses.

"So we laughed, talked, cheered because I was lucky, my cawagub is really funny, the chairman of the success is even more funny. So, laughing almost like crying," said Pramono at the winning house, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Sunday, September 15.

In the inaugural meeting, it was also emphasized that the Pramono-Rano timses did not take advantage of identity politics and played the narrative of ethnic divisions while carrying out the Jakarta gubernatorial election campaign later.

"So we really will compete with programs, ideas, visions and also those that are no less important than how to solve the problems of the people of Jakarta, the problems of the people of Jakarta," said Pramono.

Continuing, Cak Lontong admitted that his position as team leader was successful, only completing the needs of Pramono-Rano's winning strategy in the Jakarta Pilkada.

Given that he has had a career as a comedian, Cak Lontong feels there is no problem if he leads the winning team with a cheerful narrative.

"As we all know, I am in a position like this, maybe a position that is not usual because I am usually entertaining. But I know very well and understand very well why I might be assigned this. Because I may only be a complement, because on the right side of my left side, he is a candidate for governor and deputy governor of Jakarta," said Cak Lontong.

Moreover, Cak Lontong assesses that Pramono and Rano have sufficient provisions to win the 2024 Pilkada in Jakarta. Pramono has a qualified track record as a former member of the DPR to Cabinet Secretary. Meanwhile, Rano has been known by Jakarta residents since he played the soap opera Si Doel Anak Sekolahan

"Our governor candidate, Mas Pram, knows Jakarta. Now on the left, Bang Doel, Jakarta knows. Hehehe, right? So, maybe what is my job, is only a complement," he explained.
