National Team Player Dimas Drajad Breathes Relieved, Suspect Of Bag Thief Arrested

This is the figure of a suspected bag thief belonging to the National Team player Dimas Drajad when he was arrested by the Central Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit. HS alias Bogel was arrested by the police at his residence in Tangerang, Banten.

HS carried out his action in the GBK area, Senaya, Central Jakarta on August 31. The bag containing the victim's cellphone was stolen by putting it in the perpetrator's bag which then selling the cellphone to someone with the initials B amounting to Rp 2.5 million.

By B, the stolen cellphone was resold to PW for Rp. 3.5 million. Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Muhammad Firdaus told reporters the chronology of the theft incident.

The suspect is a recidivist with the same case and has just been released from prison. Apart from Bogel, the police also arrested two suspected collectors, namely B and PW. The suspect was charged with Article 362 of the Criminal Code Jo. 480 with a penalty of 5 years in prison. The other two suspects were charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code concerning detention.
