PKB Respects The Search Of The Mendes Official House

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP National Awakening Party, Syaiful Huda, said that his party respects the search of the official residence of the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (PDTT) Abdul Halim Iskandar by the KPK.

"Regarding law enforcement, yes, we respect it. We are purely law enforcement," said Huda, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 11.

In addition, he said the search of the PKB cadre showed that the KPK had carried out its duties and functions.

PKB continued Huda that there was no tendency outside of law enforcement against what the KPK had done to the brother of the General Chairperson of the PKB DPP Muhaimin Iskandar.

Previously (10/9), KPK investigators confiscated cash and electronic evidence after searching one of the official residences of Mendes Abdul Halim Iskandar.

"From the search, investigators confiscated cash and electronic evidence," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika.

Tessa revealed that KPK investigators searched Abdul Halim Iskandar's official residence in the South Jakarta area on Friday (6/9).

The search was related to the investigation of the alleged corruption case in the management of grant funds for community groups (pokmas) from the East Java Province Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).
