Even Though They Are Not Included In The Timses Structure, Rano Karno Claims Iko Uwais Is Ready To Participate In The Campaign

JAKARTA - The candidate for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta who was promoted by the PDIP and Hanura Party, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, announced the structure of his winning team in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

Rano admitted that the name of the match actor, Iko Uwais, will also help win the election. However, Iko was not included in the structure of the campaign team because he did not want to be in a formal position.

"He said, 'Bang, you don't have to ask where I am. We must be in (the) brother. It's just that, don't note it. I'm afraid it's just recorded, it doesn't come up with a name. It's not good'," said Rano at the Bang Yos Museum, Bekasi, West Java, Thursday, September 5.

Rano admitted that initially he wanted to include Iko's name as one of the deputy leaders of the winning team. However, to Rano, Iko admitted that he was worried that he would not be able to go directly when the campaign stages began because he was still abroad.

"This means that Iko is not included, but in principle I dare to declare him, he is ready to help his brother. If he doesn't help, he prays," said the actor of Si Doel.

On that occasion, Rano explained the reason his party wanted Iko to help win it. The actor in the action film "The Raid" will be asked to help popularize pencak silat as Betawi cultural heritage.

"Hopefully Iko can also help me to build the silat culture that we collected yesterday so that it becomes the identity of our beloved Jakarta city," he explained.
