Based on the results of the evaluation conducted by the Geological Agency for the period 23-31 August, 41 eruptions were recorded, 59 gusts, 81 chemoic times, 44 shallow volcanic times, and 53 times deep volcanic. Shallow volcanic earthquakes, harmonics, gusts, and eruption earthquakes have increased slightly. This indicates more activity occurs on the surface. In addition, the volcano with the current status of volcanic activity Level III or Alert also experienced inflation in the mountain body. This indicates the possibility of magma supply to the surface. "What indicates the potential for an eruption will still occur," said Hadi. Based on reports from the Lewotobi Laki Volcano Observation Post, there have been four eruptions or eruptions from 00.00 to 12.00 WITA. The Geological Agency still recommends that people around the mountain or visitors and tourists not to carry out activities within a 3 km radius of the eruption center.

The same applies to sectoral 4 km in the north-northeast direction and 5 km in the northeastern sector from the top of the mountain.
