JAKARTA - The East Java Regional Police mutated the Kasatresnarkoba Malang City Police, Kompol Anria Rosa Piliang after an incident of an army colonel raided at a hotel in the local area.

Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police, Kombes Gatot Repli, confirmed that the Secret Telegram (TR) containing the mutation of Kompol Anria had been signed by the Head of the Human Resources Bureau of the East Java Regional Police, Kombes Andi Syahriful Taufik on Friday, March 26.

"That is true that the East Java Regional Police Chief issued TR Number 587, dated March 26, 2021, which was signed by the Head of Human Resources regarding the mutation of Kasatresnarkoba Malang Police, Kompol Anria Rosa," said Gatot in Surabaya, Saturday, March 27.

Gatot added that Kompol Anria Rosa Piliang was transferred or assigned as the First Policy Analysis in the Psychotropic Sector at the Regional Police of the East Java Regional Police.

Nevertheless, this middle-ranking Polri officer said that mutations within the Police were a natural thing as an organizational refreshment.

"Kompol Anria Rosa has been transferred to the East Java Regional Police. Mutations are something the police usually do to refresh the organization," he said.

The position of Kasatresnarkoba Malang City Police is currently held by AKP Danang Yudanto who previously served as Panit II Unit III Sub-Directorate I Ditreskrimum Polda East Java.

Previously, the Narcotics, Psychotropic, and Dangerous Drug Detective Unit at Malang City Police was reported to have committed a procedural error during a raid in a hotel room in Malang City, Thursday, March 25 in the morning.

From the official statement of the East Java Regional Police, there were four members of the Malang City Police Narcotics Satresnarkoba who made a procedural error during the raid process, and are currently undergoing investigation by Propam.
