JAKARTA - Hundreds of masses of Tasikmalaya City Branch United Development Party (PPP) cadres stormed the Central Representative Council (DPP PPP) office on Jalan Diponegoro, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, August 27, evening.

The upset crowd burned a number of the attributes of the PPP party he was wearing. This action is a form of disappointment because PPP has not issued a recommendation letter for Ivan Dicksan as a Candidate for Mayor of Tasikmalaya.

Based on VOI's observation at the location, hundreds of cadres unfurled banners with support for Ivan Dicksan. Several cadres were also seen expressing their emotions by shouting for the DPP to immediately issue a decree to Ivan Dicksan.

The chairman of the Tasikmalaya PPP Council, Budi Budiman, said that he had been in Jakarta for three days to ask the DPP to issue a recommendation letter regarding the Mayor's Candidate.

According to Budi, the DPP should be willing to accept the arrival of cadres to express their aspirations.

"It should be a child who wants to meet his parents, how come this makes it difficult for us, what kind of parents are they," he said.

According to them, Ivan Dicksan is a fixed price as a candidate for mayor who is promoted by PPP Tasikmalaya City. Even if the DPP does not approve, then the cadres will continue to support Ivan Dicksan.

"If the DPP does not issue a recommendation letter for Ivan Dicksan, we will continue to support Ivan Dicksan," he said.

The burning of attributes by PPP Tasikmalaya cadres was carried out at the PPP DPP yard on Diponegoro Street, Menteng, Central Jakarta. This action was under tight guard from the Menteng Metro Police and caused traffic flow on Jalan Diponegoro to experience traffic jams.
