Ministry Of Defense Signs Missile Procurement Cooperation Contract With Republikorp

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Defense has signed a cooperation contract for the procurement of Surface Missiles to the Surface Guardian and Sungur Air Defense Missiles with the Republic of Indonesia.

The signing was carried out by the Head of the Defense Facilities Agency, Marsdya TNIYusuf Jauhari and Founder of the Republic of Korea, Norman Joesoef in front of Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto and Secretary of Turkish Defense Industries, Haluk Görg Zun, Tuesday, August 27.

This missile procurement cooperation is an important step in building an independent national defense industry.

With this partnership, the government will not only have an independent defense industry but also strengthen Indonesia's position on the defense industry stage

international.

Not only the signing of missile procurement cooperation, but the Republic of Indonesia also signed a framework for cooperation or framework with ASELSAN and ROCKETSAN.

Norman Joesoef, representing Republiorp, signed an agreement with ASELSAN for the production of the Remote Control Weapon System (RCWS), as well as with ROCKETSAN to establish Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities and production of HOLIDAY, ATMACA, and HISAR missiles.

Previously, Repuborp had a brilliant track record in collaborating with military equipment with major countries.

Over the past five years, Republicans have been building strategic partnerships with various global companies, including LIG Nex1 from South Korea for production and transfer of missile technology, as well as partners from Slovakia for the development of the TURRA 30 turet from EVPU.

These collaborations strengthen Indonesia's military capabilities and demonstrate Republicorp's commitment to diversifying defense technology.

Furthermore, in Italy, Republyorp also developed a collaboration with Drass Galeazzi SRL for the assembly of mini and autonomous submarines, as well as with Fiocchi Munizioni Sp.A. in ammunition production.

These steps are part of Repub's efforts towards independence in defense supply and creating stronger diplomatic channels.

This year, Repub is entering a new era by starting a contribution to the manufacturing of the defense industry through the construction of facilities in Subang.

This facility is the spearhead of innovation and sustainability in the development of modern electric tactical weapons, ammunition, and vehicles, designed to meet the needs of the TNI in the future.

With strategic partnerships and increasing investment, Indonesia is on the right track to become an independent and resilient defense force in the region.
