Police Deploy 4,523 Personnel, Guard 2 International Activities In Bali

The National Police deployed 4,523 personnel in the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) activity security scheme and the 2024 High Level Forum On Multi Stakeholders Partnership (HLF-MSP) which will be held in Bali.

Thousands of personnel are members of a security operation codenamed 'Puri Agung II 2024'.

"The National Police in securing this event deployed a total of 4,523 personnel," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Shandi Nugroho in his statement, Tuesday, August 20.

The Puri Agung II 2024 operation will be held from August 31 to September 4.

Later, the National Police will synergize with various agencies such as the TNI, Paspampres, to BNPT in securing the two international activities.

"The involvement of the East Java Regional Police (satwil) regional unit and the NTB Regional Police is in security because East Java and NTB are buffer areas from Bali as the main venues," he said.

The National Police ensured that the two activities would run safely, smoothly and in a conducive situation. In addition, the Bhayangkara Corps is also responsible for maintaining Bali's security and social security so that it is conducive.

For information, the IAF II 2024 and HLF-MSP will be held on 1-3 September. The plan, Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will be present to open the two activities.

In this activity, the target is the presence of 51 Heads of State and 1,500 international organizations to the business sector.
