Gerindra Officially Promotes Binzein-Abang Ijo Pair In The Purwakarta Pilkada

PURWAKARTA - The Gerindra Party officially carries the candidate pair for regent and deputy regent Saepul Bahri Binzein-Abang Ijo Hapidin in the 2024 Purwakarta Pilkada. Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees Dedi Mulyadi congratulated the pair Binzein and Abang Ijo on Gerindra's recommendation to run in the Purwakarta Pilkada. The Gerindra Party has officially recommended to the candidate pair for regent and deputy regent Saepul Bahri Binzein-Abang Ijo Hapidin in Jakarta, on Wednesday night. The recommendation letter was given directly by the Secretary General of the Gerindra Party DPP Ahmad Muzani. Meanwhile, in mid-July 2024, the candidate pair for regent and deputy regent of Saepul Bahri Binzein-Abang Ijo Hapidin had been declared directly by Dedi Mulyadi. Dedi, who is also the former Regent of Purwakarta for two terms, left a message to Binzein and Abang Ijo to restore the vision and character of Purwakarta as he was in charge. “ Prioritize what is the need for the public, free education, infrastructure is met, then the government lives 24 hours to serve the public, and that can be seen in the past 10 years. I don't want a leader who prioritizes official facilities for personal interests rather than the public interest,” he said in Purwakarta, Antara, Thursday, August 15.

Dedi admitted that he was sure that the candidate pair for regent and deputy regent he supported in the Purwakarta Pilkada could unite to build a more special Purwakarta. Along with the decline in recommendations from the Gerindra party, the candidate pair for regent and deputy regent of Binzein and Abang Ijo received a recommendation from two parties to run in the Purwakarta Pilkada, namely Gerindra and Democrats.
