JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said there are groups of people who have a high risk of the COVID-19 virus, compared to other groups of people.

They are the elderly (elderly) and people with other diseases, such as complications, diabetes, asthma, and so on. Changes in public health conditions need to be considered so that it is not easily infected with this virus

"I invite all people to pay close attention to those who have vulnerabilities. For parents and those who have risks due to congenital diseases (asked) to be relieved not to travel," said Anies at the City Hall of DKI, Central Jakarta, Thursday, March 26. .

Anies asked the role of the local RW, RT, and PKK to identify these vulnerable communities in the area where they live, so that their mobility can be monitored.

"We also mobilize through RT, RW, and PKK to help identify high-risk communities so that they do not do outside activities and avoid potential transmission," he said.

For information, to date the total positive cases of COVID-19 are 893 people. This number increased by 103 cases from yesterday. There are an additional 4 patients recovered, now the total is 35 people. Then there were additional cases of death by 20 cases, bringing the total to 78 people.

Most cases are still in the province of DKI Jakarta. To date, the number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Jakarta is 495 people. There were 29 patients who were declared cured, and 48 people who died. As for the number of health workers exposed to COVID-19 today, there are 50 people spread across 24 hospitals.

The elderly and those with congenital diseases are a vulnerable group if they are infected with the COVID-19 virus. Most of the corona virus patients who die are elderly and people with congenital diseases because their immunity is weak.
