JAKARTA - Commission B of the DKI Jakarta DPRD prohibits the BUMD PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) from requesting additional regional capital participation (PMD) in the amendment to the APBD for the 2024 fiscal year.
Now, Jakpro is working on the construction of the 1B phase of the Jakarta LRT. Chairman of Commission B of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Ismail asked Jakpro to apply for additional capital for the construction of the light train in the 2025 APBD which was designed at the end of this year.
"It is accumulated on the proposed 2025 fiscal year, which will soon be discussed, with a note that it will be disbursed in early 2025," said Ismail in his statement, Wednesday, August 14.
Ismail explained that the DPRD did not allow Jakpro to increase the capital budget for the construction of the Jakarta LRT this year. According to him, Jakpro has received PMD of IDR 1.9 trillion in the 2024 APBD.
Meanwhile, until now, the capital budget disbursed has not been fully absorbed. "In the PMD absorption report, it has not been 100 percent absorbed," said Ismail.
On the one hand, Ismail hopes that the construction of the LRT Phase 1B for the Velodrome-Manggarai route, which is currently underway, can be completed according to the target by 2026.
"This LRT work is not limited to construction, but also related to a number of support systems, both electrification, provision of rails, reliability tests and so on, and all of them do not have to wait for construction completion, but the provision of equipment has been done in parallel since now," he explained.
The 1B phase Jakarta LRT has a 4.6 kilometer line span which has 5 stations, namely Rawamangun Youth Station, BPKP Scout Station, Matraman Station Scout Market Station, and Manggarai Station.
So far, as many as 6 LRT stations have operated with a length of 5.2 kilometers in phase 1, namely Pegangsaan Dua, North Boulevard Station, South Boulevard Station, Pulomas Station, Equestrian Station, and Velodrome Station.
