Hasto Kristiyanto Reportedly Will Be Called This Week, KPK: Just Wait

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that it will provide information if it summons the Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto for questioning.

This was conveyed by KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika when asked about the information about Hasto's summons this week. Initially, so far he did not know whether there was a schedule that had been determined by investigators.

"I can't confirm whether there will be a summons from HK's brother, both in the DJKA case and in the HM suspect case," Tessa told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, August 13.

Tessa only said that all the information would definitely be conveyed. "We'll just have to wait for the D day. If we are going to update it," he said

As previously reported, the KPK summoned PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto in the bribery case of the Ministry of Transportation's DJKA (Kemenhub). He was questioned on Friday, July 19.

However, Hasto could not attend because he was scheduled to chair an internal party meeting. Moreover, he did not understand the information about the summons from the driver because he was outside Jakarta.

Meanwhile, in the bribery case of Harun Masiku, Hasto at that time asked for a postponement of the examination. This step was taken after investigators confiscated his cellphone and agenda from Kusnadi, who was his staff.
