PKB Still Wants To Carry Gus Yusuf In The Central Java Pilkada, But May Change The Course To Ahmad Luthfi

Deputy Chairperson of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Jazilul Fawaid said his party still wanted to carry the Chairman of the Central Java PKB Regional Leadership Council (DPW) Yusuf Chudlori or Gus Yusuf in the Central Java gubernatorial election.

"Still, for Central Java, we still encourage Gus Yusuf to run for governor in Central Java," said Jazilul at the PKB DPP office, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, August 13.

The party led by Muhaimin Iskadar, called Jazilul, has assigned Gus Yusuf to attract other political parties so that they can form a coalition.

Jazilul feels that there is no concern for PKB over the plan for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) to carry former Central Java Police Chief Ahmad Luthfi to run for the candidate for Governor of Central Java, including the news that Luthfi will be paired with Kaesang Pangarep.

"Indeed, Gus Yusuf, whom we also gave the task of coordinating, communicating with parties in Central Java, until the formation or decision is who the candidate for governor or deputy governor will be," explained Jazilul.

However, Jazilul did not deny that PKB could change course, cancel Gus Yusuf's investigation, then participate in carrying Ahmad Luthfi with KIM. Moreover, if Gus Yusuf's electability has not been able to compete.

"In politics, the possibilities are always open to options that of course must be discussed together," he added.

Previously, Jazilul talked about the opportunity to pair Gus Yusuf with a figure pushed by PDIP, Andika Perkasa.

"In Central Java, from the beginning PKB encouraged Gus Yusuf, the chairman of the Central Java PKB DPW to run for governor. Now he is still assembling the coalition with whom the coalition is, who is his representative," said Jazilul at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Thursday, July 26.

Jazilul said the map of the Central Java Pilkada coalition was not clearly visible. So that PKB is still looking for coalition friends. If PDIP closes, he said, then Andika Perkasa's name will be compromised as Gus Yusuf's companion.
