Police Investigates Murder And Robbery Of Retired Teachers In Aceh

JAKARTA - The Banda Aceh Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still investigating information about the alleged perpetrator of the robbery and murder of a retired teacher in Banda Aceh at the end of last year.

Head of Criminal Investigation Division Banda Aceh Police AKP M. Ryan Citra Yudha said that so far his party is still investigating the incident that happened to a retired teacher based on the information that has been received.

"We are still carrying out investigations by looking for information in connection with the incident", he said as quoted by Antara, Thursday, March 25.

Previously, the house of a retired teacher with the initials Nur (62), a resident of the teacher housing complex, Gampong Mibo Village, Banda Raya Banda Aceh District was robbed, the victim was found dead due to severe abuse.

Ryan said that the process of investigating the case is still ongoing to this day. Several developing information continues to be explored to examine families and residents around the crime scene (TKP).

"The witnesses we have examined so far are 12 people, both from family and local communities", he said.

From the results of the investigation and the information that has been developed in the meantime, he said, it has not yet been directed at the perpetrator, whether it was carried out by someone close to the victim or from outside parties.

"While not (leading to the perpetrator, ed.)", Said Ryan.

In this murder incident, apart from claiming lives, the victim also lost IDR 9.9 million in cash, two pure gold "mayam", and two 22 carat gold rings.
