Achieve WTP Opinion 7 Times In A Row, BPK Still Finds The Financial Problems Of The DKI Provincial Government

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has again received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) on the report on the results of DKI Jakarta's financial examination for the 2023 fiscal year.

The WTP predicate from the regional government's (LKPD) financial statements is the seventh time it has been maintained in a row since 2017 or during Anies Baswedan's leadership as Governor of DKI Jakarta.

This was conveyed by Member V of BPK RI as Head of State Financial Audit V, Ahmadi Noor Supit, in the plenary meeting of the submission of the results of the DKI Jakarta LKPD examination in 2023.

"BPK provides an Unqualified Opinion on the 2023 Provincial Government's financial statements. Thus, the Provincial Government has succeeded in maintaining an Unqualified Opinion without exception for the seventh time," said Ahmadi Noor Supit at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Thursday, July 25.

Despite winning the WTP title, BPK still found financial problems in the composition of the DKI Provincial Government's financial statements.

One of them is the potential for double recording of fixed land assets at the location of the land use appointment permit (SIPPT).

"The listing of land parcels at the SIPPT location has not been fully supported by BAST from developers and fixed asset settlements in construction in protracted work," said Ahmad Noor Supit.

Then, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has also not received revenue from land leases from PT Jakarta Propertindo, Bank DKI, and other third parties.

"As well as potential for the use of regional property that has not been supported by a cooperation agreement," he said.

BPK also found a volume shortage over the implementation of several work packages and the delay in completion of the work had not been subject to a fine.

Furthermore, the DKI Provincial Government does not yet have a recording mechanism for receiving direct grants from the central government. Also, the distribution of social assistance to several recipients does not meet the criteria at the Social Service and Education Office.

"This achievement should be an impetus to always increase accountability and transparency in regional management and increase financial reports," he explained.
