Central Java Prosecutor's Office Records 7 Employees Indicated For Online Gambling, Maybe Prosecutors Or Business Employees

The Central Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) revealed that seven prosecutor's employees in this province were indicated by the criminal act of online gambling. "There are seven employees that we will immediately follow up on the process," said Head of the Central Java High Prosecutor's Office Ponco Hartanto during the commemoration of Bhakti Adhyaksa Day in Semarang, Antara, Monday, July 22. The Prosecutor's Office itself is still investigating the status of the seven employees, whether the prosecutor or administrative staff. Kajati conveyed the prosecutor's firm efforts in eradicating online gambling. Including follow-up efforts, according to him, the prosecutor's office will immediately form an Online Judi Eradication Task Force. In addition to the internal handling of the prosecutor's office, he continued, there are cases of online gambling that are currently being handled by the prosecutor's office. The handling of the overflow of gambling cases from the National Police Headquarters, he said, is currently being handled by the prosecution by the Semarang City Prosecutor's Office. Assistant for General Crimes at the Central Java High Prosecutor's Office, Adhi Prabowo, added that currently there are 11 Orders for the Commencement of Investigation from the Central Java Police.

"SPDP (Notification of Investigation) 11 cases, we are just waiting for the files from the police," he said.
