Calls Anies Survey The Highest In Jakarta, Kaesang Tatang Ridwan Kamil Leaves West Java

JAKARTA - PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep responded to the offer of the General Chairperson of Golkar, Airlangga Hartarto to run in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

Golkar even prepared the toll road boss, Yusuf Hamka alias Babah Alun to accompany him if the youngest son of President Joko Widodo was willing to run for the upcoming Jakarta gubernatorial election.

Instead of agreeing, Kaesang actually challenged Golkar cadre who is also the former Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil to move to Jakarta. Kaesang also said that currently Anies Baswedan's survey is the highest for the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"Regarding DKI, there is still a lot of time actually, there are still 49 days left and if we look at Pak Anies' survey now the highest, but I think Golkar also has a champion of Pa ketum, there is Mr. RK," said Kaesang at the Golkar DPP office, Thursday, July 11.

"Maybe if Mr. RK is tired of West Java, maybe he can find new challenges in DKI Jakarta," he continued.

However, Kaesang again reminded that the registration for the 2024 Pilkada was still long. So he is waiting for the dynamics that may occur.

"But back again, politics is very dynamic, especially in Jakarta, so we'll just have to wait until the end of registration on August 29," said Kaesang.
