Rizieq Shihab Picked Up From Bareskrim Cell: I Didn't Join The Online Session

JAKARTA - Rizieq Shihab refuses to take part in the online trial. Rizieq still wants an offline trial.

"I did not attend the online trial. My online trial is not ready. My rights are protected by law, ”said Rizieq Shihab when he was picked up from the Police's Bareskrim cell for the trial, Friday, March 19.

"I am not willing to have an online trial," said Rizieq.

Today Rizieq Shihab's trial was continued with an agenda for reading the pending indictment.

"Stay (offline trial, red) or please have a trial with chairs, tables and walls," Rizieq Shihab's lawyer, Aziz Yanuar, told VOI, Thursday, March 18.

Rizieq Shihab was charged in two cases. First the Petamburan crowd case, then the lie in the swab test results at the Bogor UMMI Hospital.

Meanwhile in East Jakarta District Court, the panel judges have opened the trial. But there is still tension in the alley of the Criminal Investigation Unit.
