The landslide that occurred in the people's mining area in East Tulabolo Village, East Suwawa District, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province claimed two lives. The Commander of the Alpa Basarnas Gorontalo Team, Salama, said that the temporary data that was confirmed was the number of victims as many as eight people, consisting of two people who died, two people were found safe, and four people are still being searched. "Temporary data, the two people who died were a 40-year-old mother and her four-year-old child. While her father is still being sought. They are residents of East Suwawa," said Salama in Gorontalo, Antara, Sunday, July 7. Two of the victims who survived the accident were injured, one of whom was seriously injured due to a fracture. The initial information received, he said, was that the landslide occurred on Saturday (6/7) at midnight at around 23.45 WITA. At that time some of the victims were resting and fast asleep in several districts or stalls at the mine site. "For the time being, several victims have been successfully evacuated from the mine site to the main post, before being taken to the hospital," he said. As of Sunday night at 21:35 WITA, six victims were successfully evacuated by a joint team with residents.

The local authorities are still collecting data on the identity of the number of victims as a result of the landslide disaster.
