Ridwan Kamil And Dedi Mulyadi High Surveys In West Java, PAN: Desy Ratnasari And Bima Arya Ready To Be Cawagub

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the DPP PAN Eddy Soeparno responded to the results of a survey by Indonesian Political Indicators regarding the West Java Pilkada. Eddy admitted that Ridwan Kamil and Dedi Mulyadi were still the most superior when compared to other names that appeared.

Eddy also stated that the two cadres in West Java, namely Desy Ratnasari and Bima Arya, were ready if asked to become cawagub.

"Of course Kang Emil and Dedi Mulyadi are still ahead. But we see Desy Ratnasari and Bima Arya's electability trends are also good, this is a good signal for PAN," said Eddy, to reporters, Friday, July 5.

Eddy assessed that the two cadres proposed by PAN were the right representatives to lead West Java. According to him, Desy Ratnasari represents the aspirations of a female group with a long experience of advocacy in the DPR. Meanwhile, Bima Arya represents an experienced and intellectual regional head.

"The point is for West Java PAN to propose the best cadres," said Eddy.

According to Eddy, the results of the simulation of the Indicator survey are also proven that the two PAN cadres have a significant impact on their partners. Both paired with Ridwan Kamil and Dedi Mulyadi.

"If nominated for governor, PAN cadres are certainly ready. If nominated as cawagub based on the agreement with the supporting party, Teh Desy or Kang Bima is also ready," he said.

"What is clear is that PAN will all out carry its cadres," added Eddy.

However, when asked about Ridwan Kamil's opportunity to continue in the West Java or Jakarta Pilkada, Eddy emphasized that the Advanced Indonesia Coalition would decide based on a scientific approach.

"If you look at the current survey, Kang Emil is still far ahead in West Java. But everything continues and I am sure that there will be a joint decision from KIM with scientific judgment. In time it will be conveyed," concluded the Deputy Chairman of Commission VII of the DPR.

It is known, the results of the Indonesian Political Indicators (IPI) survey show that the name of former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil is in the top position for the 2024 West Java Pilkada.

Executive Director of Indonesian Political Indicators Burhanuddin Muhtadi, said Ridwan Kamil was ranked first with an electability of 44.5 percent of the votes. Followed by Dedi Mulyadi 33.2 percent, Dede Yusuf 5.4 percent, Bima Arya 2.2 percent, and Desi Ratnasari 1.8 percent.

So Ridwan Kamil still significantly outperforms Dedi Mulyadi. But overall is also not very different, the difference is around 11 percent compared to Ridwan Kamil. The Indicator Survey also photographed the simulation results of 3 pairs of candidates. The first simulation, Ridwan Kamil-Uu Ruzhanul Ulum received 51.0 percent. Second position is Dedi Mulyadi-Bima Arya Sugiarto 38.4 percent, and Haru Suandharu-Ilham Akbar Habibie 3.6 percent. Don't know/answer 7.0 percent.

The second simulation, Ridwan Kamil-Uu Ruzhanul Ulum won 53.2 percent against Dedi Mulyadi-Desy Ratnasari who won 36.3 percent and Haru Suandharu-Ono Surono 2.3 percent. Don't know/answer 8.2 percent.

The third simulation, Ridwan Kamil still won if paired with Bima Arya Sugiarto as much as 52.8 percent. Then, Dedi Mulyadi-Uu Ruzhanul Ulum 36.4 percent and Haru Suandharu-Ilham Akbar Habibie 3.3 percent. Don't know/an answer 7.5 percent.
