Weather On July 2, Cities In The Country Will Still Be Raining

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) warned of the potential for rain to fall in a number of areas in the country including in several major cities on the second day of July 2024, Tuesday, July 2.

In an early weather warning at the BMKG website quoted from ANTARA, it shows a number of areas in North Sumatra Province, West Sumatra, Riau, South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung Islands, Lampung, Banten, DI Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali and East Nusa Tenggara have the potential to experience heavy rain.

Heavy rains are also predicted in West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Maluku, Maluku, West Papua and Papua.

BMKG also predicts rain with lighter intensity has the potential to be experienced by a number of locations in Aceh, Riau Islands, Bengkulu, Jambi, West Java, DKI Jakarta, Central Java and West Nusa Tenggara.

In particular, major cities in Indonesia are predicted to experience rain today in various time spans including Denpasar, Bengkulu, Gorontalo, Jambi, Bandung, Banjarmasin, Palangkaraya, Samarinda, Tarakan, Tanjung Pinang, Ambon, Ternate, Mataram, Pekanbaru, Mamuju, Makassar, Kendari, Manado, Palembang and Medan.

BMKG also predicts that sunny or cloudy conditions can be experienced in the cities of Banda Aceh, Serang, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Pontianak, Pangkal Pinang, Bandar Lampung, Kupang, Jayapura, Manokwari and Padang.

For the weather in the Jakarta area, rain is predicted to occur in South Jakarta and East Jakarta during the day with other areas experiencing sunny cloudy weather.
