Mayor Bobby Is Happy For The Assistance From The Attorney General's Office To Save The Medan Government's Money Of Rp. 9 Billion

JAKARTA - The Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution appreciates and thanks the North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) for helping to save the Medan City Government's finances of Rp. 9 billion related to the Reiz Condo apartment tax levy.

The remarks were conveyed directly by the Mayor of Medan to the Head of the Prosecutor's Office, Ida Bagus Nyoman Wiswantanu, and all his staff at the Sasana Cipta Kherta Hall, Kejatisu Office, Jalan Jend. AH Nasution, Wednesday, March 17.

"This is a form of collaboration between Pemko Medan and Kejatisu, therefore I would like to thank the Kejatisu and all its staff who have helped Pemko Medan save regional finances." said Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution, Wednesday, March 17.

Where previously Reiz Condo had deviated from the Building Construction Permit (IMB) which was previously a residence but in practice it was rented out like a hotel. Of course this causes losses for Pemko Medan.

"The retribution is different if the occupancy is 0.4% while hotels are 4%, but Reiz Condo only pays 0.4%, not 4%, so we have lost around 9 billion," said the Mayor of Medan.

Not only for the Reiz Condo building, in the future the Mayor of Medan will also collaborate with the Kejatisu to curb buildings that violate permits in the city of Medan.

"In the future I hope to continue to collaborate with the Kejatisu, because I see that there are several areas that must be put in order, especially since the Medan City Government is working hard to increase the PAD of Medan," said the Mayor of Medan.

The Mayor of Medan added that currently one of the priority programs of the Medan City Government is to restore the function of the sacred heritage area as before.

"So one of our priority programs is to restore sacred heritage areas, both in terms of building shape and atmosphere," said the Mayor of Medan.

The Mayor of Medan has also reminded related OPDs to help private parties who want to invest in Medan City. However, if there is an error, immediately notify the error

"So we are not making it difficult for the private sector to invest, it's just that if someone does not understand, immediately consult the relevant OPD, OPD will definitely help him," continued the Mayor of Medan.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Kejatisu, Ida Bagus Nyoman Wiswantanu, admitted that he was ready to continue collaborating with the Medan City Government in saving state financial losses. Through existing tools, Kejatisu is ready to provide legal certainty in the North Sumatra region.

"We are happy to continue to collaborate and work together for the progress of our nation, in the future we will encourage colleagues in the regions to take advantage of the tools we have," said Kejatisu.

Furthermore, Kejatisu handed over the tax retribution that had been taken from Reiz Condo to Pemko Medan to then be deposited into the regional treasury.
