Three Incumbent Names Get Recommendations From PAN Maju In The 2024 East Java Pilkada

The names of the three candidates for regent and mayor of East Java have received a letter of recommendation from the National Mandate Party (PAN) to run in the East Java Regional Head Election (Pilkada) at the district/city level in 2024.

The recommendation letter was given by the PAN Regional Leadership Council (DPW).

The three names who received recommendation letters from the PAN DPW were Anna Muawanah (Bojonegoro), Aditya Halindra Rizky (Tuban), and Ika Puspitasari (Mojokerto City). The three people have the status of incumbent regents and mayors.

"The organizational process has been passed by the prospective regional head. In fact, the gathering has not stopped at the central level," said Chairman of the East Java PAN DPW, Ahmad Rizki Sadig as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 19.

Ahmad Rizki Sadig said that the communication of the three names of recipients of the 2024 Pilkada recommendations was routinely carried out starting before the election took place.

"If it is re-elected, we ask to be able to synergize, work together to build regencies and cities that are led," he said.

He said that after the recommendation letter was issued, the next stage was the submission of a letter of assignment for 10 prospective regional head candidates.

"Why did we invite it separately, because it was still a letter of recommendation, so we don't have a representative yet," he said.

Rizki Sadig hopes that after the assignment letter for the 10 prospective regional head candidates, it can be immediately followed up with coordination with coalition parties.

The move was intended so that the East Java PAN DPW could ask the DPP to immediately provide recommendations in the nature of packages, regional head candidates and regional deputy candidates.

"This can later process into a package recommendation and become a registered pair decree. We don't want any recommendations issued today to change again," said the member of Commission I of the DPR RI.
