The Temanggung Police detained Mundari (60) on suspicion of being the perpetrator of the stabbing of the Fajr prayer imam at the Al Iman Musala on Sunday, March 14, with the victim Muhndori (69) and his wife, Trimah (55).

"We are careful in this matter. The suspect's initial statement was that he was hurt by the victim witness Muhndori because of a land problem, so he was determined to commit violence," he said.

Although they are still being asked for information, the suspect has admitted that the action was already being prepared or planned. Therefore, the police will charge under article 340 and / article 355 paragraph 1 and 2 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of death.

A number of residents have been asked for information, he said there were at least four people who knew about the incident firsthand, while the victim witness Muhndori could not be asked for information because he was still in intensive care at the Temanggung Regional Hospital.

He said the suspect's family and the victim's family had been brought together to apologize and explain that the matter was a personal matter, had nothing to do with SARA.
