Terror Story Of Pudjiastuti's Aircraft Captain, Held Hostage For 2 Hours With 3 Papuans, And Was Gunned Down

JAKARTA - The armed front of the OPM (KSB) again carried out terror by taking PT. Asi Pudjiastuti Aviation (Pilatus PC-6 S1-9364 PK BVY) at Wangbe Airport, Wangbe District, Puncak Regency, Papua on Friday, March 12 yesterday.

The hostage-taking ended after negotiations between the passengers and the KSB. Around 08.36 WIT the Susi Air PK BVY plane took off to the UPBU Terminal of Moses Kilangin Timika Airport and landed safely.

"Even though there were no victims, this incident shows the KSB terror acts in the Papua region, including terror against civil aviation activities. And we always coordinate closely with the police, "he added.

The pilot of the plane, Captain Ian John Terrence Hellyer, a New Zealand citizen, revealed that he and 3 Papuan passengers were held hostage by around 30 KSB people for 2 hours at Wangbe Airfield, Puncak Regency, at around 06.20 WIT.

The three indigenous Papuans are Ricky Dolame, Arikala Dolame and Arike Wandikbo.

Still according to the pilot, two of the dozens of KSB were carrying rifles. Luckily for 2 hours of being held hostage, the pilot and 3 passengers did not experience violence, even though they were worried about their safety, because they were pointing at guns.

He said that the KSB had threatened to prohibit the Susi Air airline from carrying passengers from the TNI / Polri apparatus. In addition, KSB also expressed its disappointment with the Village Head for not providing village funds. Until now there has been no official confirmation from the police.
