JAKARTA - Two young men did not move when they were arrested and searched by members of the Senen Police Station on Jalan Ledeng, Kramat Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta.

Although they had avoided it, the findings of evidence of sharp weapons on the bodies of the two perpetrators made them both surrender.

"Two suspects with the initials AS and BS were found carrying sharp weapons illegally and had nothing to do with their jobs. They were arrested while hanging out on the side of the road," Senen Police Chief, Kompol Bambang Santoso told reporters, Monday, June 3.

The sharp weapons seized were a small knife measuring 10 cm belonging to suspect BS and a 20 cm long black circuit belonging to the suspect AS.

"Both of them were arrested when members of the Senen Police carried out regional patrols. Both were suspected so that a search was carried out," he said.

Suspect BS kept a small knife in his right hand, while the US suspect kept a curve in his left waist.

The two suspects were charged with Article 2 paragraph 1 of the Indonesian Emergency Law No. 12 of 1951 with a threat of 10 years in prison.
