This provision is contained in Presidential Regulation Number 9 of 2023 concerning Honoraries, Incentives, and Other Additional Benefits of the Public Housing Savings Committee, which was set on January 20, 2023.

In the regulation, the Tapera Committee is entitled to receive honorarium, incentives, and other additional benefits to improve performance. Furthermore, Article 2 Paragraph (5) explains further the types of additional benefits in question are:

In Article 3 of Presidential Decree Number 9 of 2023, the amount of honorarium or basic salary obtained by the Tapera committee is different from one another. The salary or honorarium is determined according to the position and status of the position.

At the position of chairman of the Tapera committee from the ministerial element ex officio, the amount of salary earned is IDR 32,508,000 per month. Meanwhile, members of the Tapera Committee, professional elements received an honorarium of IDR 43,344,000 million and members of the Ministerial element Tapera Committee ex-officio of IDR 29,257,200.

In terms of incentives for members of the professional element Tapera committee, get at most 40% of the incentives given to the BP Tapera commissioner. There are also other allowances given such as during holidays (at most 1 honorarium), transportation of at most 20% of the honorarium, full office insurance allowance 25% of the honorarium received in 1 year. Allowances and honorariums of both will be subject to income tax cuts in accordance with statutory provisions.
