Good News From Yogyakarta, The Number Of Cured COVID-19 Increases To 23,991 People

JAKARTA - The Yogyakarta Special Region Government recorded that the number of patients who recovered from COVID-19 in the region on Thursday 11 March had increased by 295, bringing the total to 23,991 people.

"The additional cases recovered were 295 cases," said Berty Murtiningsih, spokesperson for the DIY regional administration for handling COVID-19 through his official statement in Yogyakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday, March 11.

He said that based on their domicile area, the 87 recovered patients consisted of one case from Yogyakarta City, 89 cases from Bantul Regency, 15 cases from Kulon Progo, 23 cases from Gunung Kidul, and 81 cases from Sleman Regency.

In addition to recovering patients, Berty also recorded an additional 128 confirmed positive patients, bringing the number of positive cases of COVID-19 in DIY to 29,636 cases.

Based on the domicile area, the 128 positive patients consisted of four cases from Yogyakarta City, 61 cases from Bantul Regency, 45 cases from Kulon Progo, 14 cases from Sleman, and four cases from Gunung Kidul.

Meanwhile, referring to the case history, he said, it consisted of 12 cases of self-examination, 95 cases of tracing contact cases, two cases of travel, and 19 cases still under investigation.

Additional cases today came from the results of laboratory examinations in DIY on 706 specimen samples from 674 people. He also noted the addition of one death case, bringing the total death cases to 722 cases.

Based on data from referral hospitals, the total suspected COVID-19 as of Thursday was 35,391 people. Of these suspects, 29,636 people tested positive, of which 23,991 people recovered and 722 died.
