JAKARTA - General Chairperson (Ketum) of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan assessed that his party did not support Anies Baswedan in the 2024 Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada), because his party entered the Advanced Indonesia Coalition.
Zulkifli stated that his party was part of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition which in the presidential election supported the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair.
"We are the Forward Indonesia Coalition," said Zulkifli when asked about the opportunity for his party to support Anies Baswedan, in Jakarta, Wednesday, May 22, which was confiscated by Antara.
When asked whether it was impossible for PAN to support Anies, Zulkifli again stated that his party was part of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition.
Meanwhile, said Zulkifli, PAN has so far prepared three cadres to advance in the Jakarta Pilkada.
They are Eko Hendro Purnomo or known as Eko Patrio, Zita Anjani and Sigit Purnomo or known to the public as Pasha Ungu.
"From PAN there is Eko Patrio, there is Zita Anjani, there is Pasha Ungu," he said.
