Holding MDP, PBB Will Determine Candidates Promoted In The 2024 Pilkada

JAKARTA - The Crescent Star Party (PBB) will decide on a strategy to face the 2024 simultaneous Regional Head Election (Pilkada), including the candidates to be promoted. The decision will be discussed at the Party Council Deliberation (MDP).

"What is our strategy in dealing with the formation of the upcoming cabinet, who will be drawn, who we will advance, who we will nominate, it requires an accurate strategy," said the General Chairperson of the United Nations, Yusril Ihza Mahendra at the opening of the Deliberative Council (MDP) of the Crescent Star Party at the UN DPP Headquarters, South Jakarta, Saturday, May 18.

This must be discussed comprehensively with all party councils and members. Thus, maximum results can be obtained in the 2024 Pilkada contestation.

"This issue is a big enough problem that we must face together because it is also good for these kinds of things, we discuss with the party council to decide what things are important for us to do," he said.

In addition, the determination of strategies in the Pilkada contestation must also be very mature. This is because Yusril considers that a big impact will arise, especially regarding party electability.

"Facing this simultaneous regional election because the impact will be very large, very different from the regional elections that were not simultaneously like last year," said Yusri.

Meanwhile, regarding the implementation of the 6th UN Congress, it will be determined in the Party Council Deliberation (MDP) which will be held today.
